The human body produces collagen naturally, and it is a major component of skin. 

As we grow older, the rate of collagen production decreases, which leads to fine lines and wrinkles.

Collagen is also produced as a response to injury.  When the skin is damaged, the body produces massive amounts of collagen around the injury site.

SIPL Collagen Enhancement works on that principle, heating the subdermal layers of skin, and subtly damaging them in a measured fashion.  The body responds by sending collagen to the treated area, smoothing the tissue.

Some weeks later, when those layers of skin come to the surface, the result is one of smoothing.  It is very useful for treating fine lines and scar tissue, and repeated treatments can be effective against deeper wrinkles.
