Reef has specialised in male beauty treatments since day one.  That's what we're famous for.

But as male beauty has become more mainstream, men have become more discerning.  They don't want the same things that women want.  Their needs are different. 

They dislike the fluff and puff atmosphere of a salon and the 'hairdresser-style' small talk.  They generally need bookings after hours and most prefer to have a male therapist.

The hard part though, is that male Therapists are in short supply, and good ones are even scarcer. 

Reef is fortunate to have two male therapists on staff, Steven and Andrew, both with several years experience.

We hold dedicated Men-Only nights to cater for male clients who can't make it in until late, and who would prefer a male-only environment.  The tone is more laid back and allows us to relax a bit as well.

We also have special pricing, services, and offers on our 'Man to Man' nights which are not available at any other times.  We don't take 'drop ins'.  Bookings are absolutely essential.

Note: Remedial Bodywork procedures are only available on 'Man to Man' nights and are not available at any other time.  As opposed to relaxation massage, Remedial Bodywork is a term that covers several modalities to treat musculoskeletal conditions, and should only be performed by specially trained health providers.  All Bodywork procedures at Reef are performed by Andrew Thompson, who holds Advanced Diplomas in Remedial Therapies, Sports Massage, and Chinese Medicine.  He is a Seichim Reiki Master, and Qld Massage Therapist of the Year in 2003.  As Bodywork is only a small part of what we do nowadays at Reef, we no longer offer health fund rebates.
