Hi girls & welcome,

If this is your first trip to our website, you're probably asking yourself if we only treat guys.  No, we certainly treat ladies as well. 

Around half our clients are female.  We simply started out as a male waxing studio to fill a demand, and it grew from there.

The reason we promote ourselves more to a male clientele is simply because ladies can get beauty treatments on every corner and men can't, even when the sign on a salon proclaims it to be unisex. 

And we're proud that we can be different, inclusive of everyone.

That's the attraction for our regular female clients as well.  We are inclusive - We're not going to judge you.  We understand that people come in all shapes and ages and sizes, and that women in particular, are very self conscious if they don't have the 'perfect' body type.

You don't have to worry about that here.  We don't have the fluff and puff of your average salon. 

It's calm, it's quiet, and we have both male and female therapists going about their days in a happy and professional manner.

How much does waxing hurt?
As a general guide, the feeling is like being slapped with a plastic ruler and fades quickly.  Follow up treatments are gentler than the first, as the hair hasn't had time to fully develop.

If I get a Brazilian, will it increase sensitivity during sex?
Yes, dramatically.  The difference is amazing.

I've had a Brazilian before and they made me wear a g-string.  Do I have to?
For safety reasons, girls must wear a disposable g-string.  Guys cannot. We realise that this safety policy conflicts with many of our competitors but our system will eventually become the industry norm.

Will I have to get on all fours to have a Brazilian?
No.  A lot of places still ask clients to get on their hands and knees but I have no idea why. 

We'll do our best to preserve your modesty at all times, and you won't need to get into any strange positions at all.

Will my therapist be male or female?
For general body waxing, your Therapist could be either.  For Brazilian Waxing, females are usually treated by female therapists.  If you wish to ensure that you have a male therapist, please let us know when you book.

We are cautious of men requesting female therapists, as it's homophobia at best, or a threat to our female staff at worst.  Both are dangerous.

Can you do a waxing outcall to my home?
Unfortunately no, it would make the treatment too expensive.  Wax pots take around 40 minutes to heat up, and we would have to charge for that time.  If we preheat the pots, then we risk spillage during transportation, which again is a costly (and messy) affair. 

Can I book a spray tan for after my wax treatment?
Unfortunately no.  The after wax lotion will create a barrier between your skin and the tanning solution.  Ideally you should leave the after wax lotion on, then come back in a day or two for tanning.

Can I go to the solarium after my wax treatment?
Definitely not.  You should avoid heat following a wax treatment and solariums take heat to the extreme.  Also, the chemicals in solarium tanning lotions will inflame the skin after waxing.  Leave 2 to 3 days between waxing and solarium tanning.

A salon told me they were Reef Beauty Certified.  What does this mean?
Some salons send their staff to us for training.  The therapists then receive a certificate upon completion listing details of their particular level of skill.

Any therapists making the claim that they trained with us are usually happy to present their credentials.
