We are always seeking people with sound work ethics to be trained as casual Hair Removal
Therapists.
Applicants should be aware that we are not a
mainstream beauty salon. 99% of what we do is hair
removal, both permanent and temporary (waxing), and our client
base is roughly 50-50 male/female.
Experience in the beauty
industry or certification may be advantageous however it is by
no means essential. Our principal focus when hiring is to
attract people with nurturing nature
and down-to-earth attitudes.
We prefer people from backgrounds in caring for others, eg
parenting, remedial therapies, nursing, volunteer work, domestic
help, and roles that require constant thought for other people.
Between 15 and 30 hours a week can be anticipated.
Clients tend to be loyal to a particular therapist and hours
generally reflect a Therapist's success in maintaining and
expanding their client base. Hours are flexible for people
who are parents or have other casual jobs.
Our work environment is welcoming and relaxed but professional. Therapists must be comfortable performing
treatments on people of all ethicities and genders.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, however given the
nature of our treatments, we prefer people with a 'grown-up'
disposition who have the life experience to adapt to different
personalities and who possess the ability to work on their own.
We have no upper age limit on employees. Opportunities for advancement or transfer
to other branches do arise, and are offered to those staff who
have proven themselves most capable.
